With this project, VIAS ENGINEERING Ltd., Varna will upgrade its policies for protecting health and safety at work, for managing and minimizing occupational risks and improving the quality of the working environment.
The project will contribute to ensuring an adapted, green and safe working environment in Vias Engineering Ltd., which is a key factor in creating quality and sustainable employment and developing green skills among employees. The project is aimed at introducing effective measures to improve the quality and safety of workplaces and adapt to demographic and climate processes in the working environment of a total of 65 employees. For this purpose, it is planned to introduce new models of work organization that will ensure a green and healthier working environment, as a key element of the company's corporate responsibility towards sustainable development and environmental protection.
We will provide higher than existing standards for OHS and optimize the prevention of occupational risks through effective measures to strengthen the mental and physical health of 51 employees. We will provide a quality working environment adapted to the new environmental, economic and labor challenges.
Project activities:
• Development of "green" models of labor organization, "green" maps for organizing work processes by workplace, implementation of environmentally friendly practices in the production process and motivation for environmentally friendly behavior - for 51 employees.
• Training for psychological support and mitigation of risky psychosocial factors, promotion of good mental health, prevention and prophylaxis of stress and professional burnout, reduction of the effects of the COVID pandemic on mental health for 51 employees;
• Measures to reduce the risk of accidents and occupational diseases, taking preventive measures through more reliable and new personal protective equipment (PPE), special work clothing and collective protection equipment to secure the sites.
• Improvement of social and living conditions by providing rest rooms and improving the microclimate, designating an area for short-term recreation and sports for workers.
The successful implementation of the project for 16 months will increase employee satisfaction and ensure sustainable employment.
